Abstract
Violence refers to causing the society to be unruly and destroying the peace and public situation, due to which human freedom will be distorted. The Old Testament includes five basic books related to Prophet Moses (AS) and with it 39 the Old Testament is applied to the rest of the books. In the Old Testament, killing or taking someone's right out of anger is prohibited. In the same way, all such affairs, namely lying, cheating, immorality, cruelty and all the affairs that promote evil, which destroy and ruin society, have been ordered to be avoided. And it encourages all members of the community to spend time together. According to the Old Testament, destroying and killing a person is like destroying all humanity and the world, and saving someone's life is defined as saving humanity. Just as Violence in the land is prohibited in Islamic teachings, in the same way, it was taught to avoid it in the Old Testament. There may be some differences in the process and method, but the general order is the same. From the contemporary perspective, it is essential to see and evaluate the fact that the teachings related to the Violence of the Old Testament are being followed and to be aware of the advantages and disadvantages of those teachings. Yes, given this, the above title has been made the subject of research.
