Objectives

The Zouq-E-Noor Journal of Religious and Social Studies is a multi-disciplinary scholarly endeavor dedicated to the rigorous study of various facets of Islam and the Islamic world.

The primary objectives of the Journal are:

  • Scholarly Inquiry: To serve as a dedicated platform for the scholarly study of Islam, paying special attention to areas like Islamic Philosophy, Mysticism, Islamic Culture and Civilization, and contemporary Inter-faith Dialogue.

  • Rational and Spiritual Context: To analyze and present Islam and its traditions in the light of spirituality and rationality, showcasing its pragmatic and tremendous values.

  • Global Forum and Interaction: To provide a critical forum for academic inquiry in a global context and to promote interaction among academics, researchers, and policymakers from multiple traditions of learning.

  • Encourage Consideration: To encourage comprehensive consideration of Islam in its many facets.
